Kachilu Service Privacy Policy
Kachilu Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") sets forth below how we handle personal information in relation to the cloud-integrated business platform "Kachilu" (the "Service") that we provide.
Article 1 (Definitions and Scope)
This policy applies to personal information we collect in connection with use of the Service. Personal information handled by us is broadly categorized into the following two types.
- User Information: Information about subscribers, their representatives, and account registrants who use the Service.
- Database Information (DB Data): Information about individuals collected from public internet sources and provided to customers through the Service's search and browsing functions.
Article 2 (Items of Information Collected)
We acquire the following information through lawful and fair means.
1. User Information
- Name, company name, title, email address, phone number, and payment information such as credit card information.
- Service usage logs, IP addresses, cookie information, and device information.
2. Database Information (DB Data)
- Basic information: name, gender, and phonetic reading.
- Affiliation information: company/organization name, department, title, work address, work phone number (main and direct), and corporate number.
- Career and skill information: education, work history (including former employers and periods of employment), qualifications, usable languages, business skills (programming languages, management experience, etc.), awards, and books/publications.
- Web identifiers: public profile URLs on business social networks (LinkedIn, Wantedly, Eight, etc.), blog URLs, and portfolio site URLs.
- Other: business-related information lawfully published on the internet and personnel transfer information.
Article 3 (Methods of Information Acquisition)
- User Information: Input by customers and information automatically obtained by the system when using the Service.
- DB Data: Automatic collection by crawler programs or manual collection by personnel under our control. Collection sources are limited to "public information accessible by anyone," such as official company websites, press releases, business social networks, official gazettes, and the National Tax Agency corporate number publication site.
Article 4 (Purpose of Use)
- User Information: To provide the Service, verify identity, bill fees, provide support, improve the Service, and send information from us.
- DB Data: To build company/person databases, provide information to customers through the Service (search and browsing of candidates and sales leads), and support customers' sales and recruiting activities.
Article 5 (Third-Party Provision of DB Data and Opt-Out)
Regarding personal data included in DB Data, we provide such data to third parties (subscribers to the Service) without obtaining the data subject's consent, based on Article 27, Paragraph 2 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (opt-out provision), after filing a notification with the Personal Information Protection Commission. Provision is made through access to servers with security controls, API integration, or file download format. If an individual requests suspension of third-party provision of personal data identifying that individual, we will stop such provision without delay (see the "Public Notice on Opt-Out" for details).
Article 6 (External Service Integration and Use of Google APIs)
As one function of the Service, we may integrate with Google APIs (Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.). Information obtained from Google APIs is used only for providing Service functions and improving user experience, and is not used for advertising purposes, sold to third parties, or used to train generalized AI/ML models. We also comply with the Limited Use requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Article 7 (Security Control Measures)
We take necessary and appropriate measures (including communication encryption, access controls, and employee training) to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and otherwise ensure secure management of personal information.
